Sewage Damage

SERVPRO was called to the residence to assist the customer was an unpleasant odor in the home. Upon inspection, it was determined that the drain lines to both toilets in the residence had come detached, sending the sewage into the crawlspace. The drain lines had a partial blockage in the lines, which filled the pipes up. The added weight coupled with the lack of support for those lines caused the drain lines to break free. Technicians removed the vapor barrier, cleaned up any additional sewage in the crawlspace, and then worked lime into the soil floor. The drain lines were of course repaired and a new vapor barrier was put in.
